Education/ Qualification for Cochin Shipyard Limited job: Applicants applying for the post of Fabrication/Outfit Assistants must possess Pass in SSLC and ITI (NTC) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the respective trade. For General Worker (Canteen) post application must possess Pass in VII Std. and One year Certificate Course in Food Production/ Food and Beverages Service from a Government Food Craft Institute/ Two year Vocational Certificate in Catering and Restaurant Management from an institution recognised by Central/State Government will be preferred. For the post of Semi Skilled Rigger must possess Pass in IV Std. and Minimum of three years experience in rigging of which two years in rigging of heavy duty machine parts, assisting in the erection of machinery/ equipment etc. And for the post of Project Assistants applicants must possess Three year Diploma in respective Branch of Engineering with 60% of marks from a State Board of Technical Education OR Post Graduate Degree in Commerce from a recognised University.
Age: Maximum age limit to apply for this post is 30 years as on 24th August 2016, there is age relaxation for the candidates belongs to the category of SC/ ST of 5 years, for OBC 3 years and for PwD candidates 10 years.
Location: Kochi, Kerala
Procedure of Selection: Applicants would be selected on the basis of their performance of Practical test for the candidates applying for the post of Fabrication/Outfit Assistants, General Worker Canteen and Semi Skilled Rigger and for selection to the post of Project Assistants, OMR based Objective type Written test may be conducted.
Fee: Fee of Rs. 100/- to be payable by all the candidates except SC/ ST and PwD candidates payable via Demand Draft in Favour of Cochin Shipyard Limited on any Nationalised bank payable at Kochi.
