Education / Qualification for Meghalaya Police recruitment: Applicants applying for the post of UB/ AB Sub-Inspectors must possess any graduate degree from government recognised University / Institution, for the post of UB Group applicants must possess 9th and 12th class pass from government recognised board, for the post of AB group applicants must possess 9th class pass and for the post of Follower Group applicants must possess 5th class pass from government recognised school.
Age: Minimum age to apply for the post of UB / AB Sub-Inspector is 22 years and maximum age limit is 27 years, for the post of UB group and AB group minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 21 years and for the post of Follower Group minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age is 27 years, there is age relaxation for the candidates will the category of SC / ST of 5 years.
Fee: Fees of Rs. 150 to be payable towards application form from All district superintendent of police and commandants of MLP Battalions and Principal, PTS Mawroh, Shillong
